Once again, excellent work Andie. I'm sorry I couldn't use all the pieces you made in this entry, it was just a file size concern at one point.

You were great to work with, I'd love to work with you again

That's OK Mike! I hope to work with you again aswell!
<3 !

Hey man, I know we never met but *highfive* good work bro. ^^ Thanks for the help.

Dude same here! Awesome work! Thank you guys for let me be a part of this great series!

Do you mind telling me where your soundtrack is placed in this game? Most of the time, its silent, or older music.

At the animated intro, at the first part of the game and on the credits.

Oh ok, it fit, but was basically just sound. Not really any music going on there.

That's your judgement. Some people listen to the minimal genre and find those sounds music. You don't find this music? That's cool dude!

It is music, but my point is that its nothing no one cant do. Its generally sound effects, with a bit of a musical touch, but generally nothing more than incredibly simple.

There were too many moments where you could have improved on some of your songs, and added music. The file size is small, it could have handled 1 or 2 more songs, rather than that incredibly annoying song (after 30min it is) that plays persistently throughout the entire thing!

I have heard some of your songs, and I like them. Just trying to help you guys out.

My main point, is that you are too minimal here. Its to the point where you dont even remember the soundtrack at all. Look at the short film Smile on this site, thats a great example of a minimal soundtrack, which I today still remember, because it has such an amazing presence, and gives you such a disturbed feel.

I truthfully dont even remember a single one of your songs except maybe the end. So work on it on the next episode, im sure you will do much better.

Thanks for the advices.
Mike told me he had to leave some songs because of the size, and I think since the game is sponsored, size does matter.
About Smile, the music that Alek uses is Godspeed You! Black Emperor. They are post-rock's gods. They use a variety of instruments and god knows what to make such amazing and haunting music. But i'm not looking for excuses. It's true I could have added more stuff into the theme used in the game, but since i've made the song without looking the game until now, I didn't found it necessary back then.
If i'm still on the game series, I hope to improve on it. I do admit though that the game already takes all the credit and perhaps leaves almost no room for a musical piece, perhaps that's why you don't remember my stuff.
To finish it, I like the final result, I'd liked if the main song loops and just doesn't goes silent, but maybe that would have changed the filesize or something...
Anyways, thanks for checking out my music, too!

Andies music was effective in building and maintaining suspense. In the Alice series, music is a staple, I treat it like a character. I wanted you to feel isolated and alone in the jail, I believe the minimalistic approach Andie took is fully effective with this. I stand by, support, and ultimately I am fully satisfied with the end result. There's an expression, I will probably butcher it but it's something like "You're only doing your job right when no one noticed you did anything at all"

Thank you very much, i'm so glad you guys liked the final result!!

Hey loved the game, loved the soundtrack too! but what was the name of the song that plays right after you go inside of lews? the one that says "tell me have you heard this melody: Yaa taa da taddady ta ta taa." or something like that haha.

The song is 'That Haunting Melody' by Al Jolson.

Were have you been man?
Drop a message, do you still animate?

Sure thing dude, my latest project was Teophrastus & Tesla.
I've begun college like 3 years ago so that kept me busy.
How are you doin'?

I recently played the game and I love the soundtrack!!!! It was a bit short though....

Thanks :)

Do you have the sound track, down loadable?

im rely very curious of how you made it.

It's not online or for download, you should first talk to the guys who made the game.
I've made the soundtrack with Ableton Live 7.
Thanks!

Your soundtrack was a great addition, I loved it. I mainly liked how like ImpendingRiot said before, it was subtle but set the mood perfectly. I also like where you play Al Jolson's music ^_^

Hey thank you very much! But I do not played Al Jolson´s music!
=)
